in need of Capacity Building

Unsung Heroes is a Christian NGO which focuses on building the capacity of Community Based Organisations (CBOs) through its mentoring programme.  The Unsung Heroes tagline is “Equipping Leaders Serving Communities”. 

Unsung Heroes is inviting CBOs within Gauteng, who are making a difference in their communities, but are in need of development, to apply to enter into partnership with Unsung Heroes.  CBOs whose applications are successful will be exposed to a two year programme of mentoring and capacity building designed to create effectiveness in the work they do, sustainability in that they will learn to raise their own funds and independence in that they have become able, functioning organisations.

CBO’s need to understand that this is a mentoring rather than a funding relationship and need to be willing to engage with Unsung Heroes in a collaborative partnership. 

Interested CBO’s should complete the application form which can be downloaded and printed from the link below.  This form must be returned to the email address indicated, faxed or hand delivered to our offices.  This invitation is open to CBOs working in all areas of social need.
